NSL Pit Bull trial postponed till Jan. NORTH SALT LAKE-The trial that will decide the constitutionality of the city animal control ordinance has been postponed until January 13. City attorney Kent Christiansen said the delay was granted to the plaintiff, Greenwood Kennels, due j to the fact that their key witness has decided not to testify The suit was brought when North i i Salt Lake passed an ordinance which named specific breeds of dogs as being vicious. The Greenwoods, Green-woods, who are members of the American Pit Bull Association, challenged the ordinance and filed suit. Mr. Christiansen said he hopes this, will be the last delay in getting a final decision on the controversial issue which has been in litigation for over one year.
