Show John A. Campbell John Alvin Campbell, 89, died Sunday, Dec. 1 1 , 1988 at his home. Born Oct. 18, 1899 in Weston, Ida., a son of Richard A. and Louise Buehler Campbell. Married Mildred Jensen June 25, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Aug. 13, 1959. Survived by three children: Douglas, San Francisco, Calif.; Grant, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert (Regina) Soel-berg, Soel-berg, Sedona, Ariz. Married Betty M. Thompson June 28, 1962 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, who is mother of two children, chil-dren, Mrs. Lynn (Cathy) Hintze, North Salt Lake; Don, Bountiful. He was an auto mechanic and taught at Davis High. Served a mission in Great Lakes following Mildred's death. Served second mission in Michigan Dearborn Dear-born with Betty 1979-81. Salt Lake Temple worker for 18 years. Oved in many church callings, was always a missionary and genealogist. Veteran of World War I and loved to share those experiences experi-ences with others. John's family includes five children, chil-dren, 16 grandchildren and 16 reat-grandchildren. Survived by JOHN ALVIN CAMPBELL brothers Melvin Campbell and Far-re Far-re 11 Gunnell. Funeral services were held Dec. 15 at the Bountiful Third Ward. Interment In-terment was in the Bountiful Memorial Park. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. |
