There never has been any person connected with tho motor truck industry, indus-try, no matter in what capacity, who did not find himself during some period pe-riod of his activities at an utter loss to advance farther simply because of a lack of information on tho subject in which he w-as most interested. Thore was no place to turn for aid; and it was only from the bitterness of personal per-sonal experience that he was able to gather facts and knowledge that fitted constantly arising problems. Individual Individ-ual cases were the only sources from which to gain confidence for the next emergency that might be headed his way just around tho corner. A great change has taken place. After a careful examination of the "Power Wagon Reference Book" for 1919 (published by the Power Wagon Publishing company, Chicago),. it seems safe to say that no salesman, nor any one else interested in the industry, need be held back because of a lack of in-lormsition in-lormsition touching any subject in which motor trucks, farm tractors or trailers have a part. One is impressed with the size of the book, the first number of which has just been issued; m examining the work one is at first pleased and then amazed at the wealth of information offered. Complete Data. Each need of the motor truck industry indus-try has been sensed and careful preparation prep-aration niado against unsatisfied need arising again. Makers, dealers, salesmen sales-men and operators of motor trucks and farm tractors have each been thoughtfully thought-fully supplied with the facts and figures fig-ures for which they have long been looking. As a result of the publication of the "Power "Wagon Reference Book," perhaps per-haps no part of the industry will bo more richly benefited than the selling end. Each salesman has, during his experience in selling machines, found himself at great disadvantage because of a lack of facts to present to some probable buyer of his product. These data were not to be found within his own limited experience nor in that of his associates. The reference book meets this emergency. It makes the going easy. Salient Features. Hundreds of fine illustrations give an artistic touch, as well as an added value, to the book. Asido from real pleasure, a study trip through the pages of the "Powor Wagon Reference Book" is productive of satisfying and rich results. The motor mo-tor truck industry is to be congratulated congratulat-ed in its possession of this valuable work, which is to bo issued annually, bringing each year to the industry an increasing volume of motor truck and tractor data. |
