Tt is the creation of an improvement improve-ment district by which about .sixty-five blocks 01" cilv stVcet will be paved a.t an estimated cotl of $150,000. It is planned to pave bridge street from the end of the present paving westerly to tiie Snake river bridge: Main street northerly to the city limits: Broadway southerly lo the city limits and Alice street easterly to the city limits, and Sbilline avenue from Walker street on the south lo Monroe street on the north, eighteen blocks. East Main street will bo paved five blocks and all cross streets from East Main to Shilling will be paved. Curtis, Sexton, Ash and Pacific streets are to be paved where necessary to connect with former pa viiis. Shilling avenue is sixty feet wide from curl? to curb and the improvement con-leuiplafes con-leuiplafes parking the center twenty feet. |
