THE twenty-seventh annual convention con-vention of the Woman's Christian Chris-tian Temperance union of Utah will be held in Salt Lake this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Westminster Presbyterian Presby-terian church, First West and Fifth South streets. The floor work of the guards was excellent. Mrs. Etta M. Patterson, record keeper, then presented the retiring commander, com-mander, Mrs. Katie Saxman, with a beautiful jeweled bee brooch from the review, expressing the esteem of the members for the faithful work she did for the review during the time she was commander. Following the installation the evening even-ing was spent in dancing. The Catholic Woman 'a league will meet Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Ladies' Literary clubhouse. S. 1 I A. The first fall meeting of the First Presbyterian Ferry chapter of the Westminster West-minster guild will be held at the church Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock, at which time Miss Elizabeth Barnard will be the hostess. All members are urged to be present in order that plans for further fur-ther meetings may be fully canvassed. The Rowena circle of Yeomen will meet Thursday at 2 o'clock at the home of Mrs. H. Nilson, 132 B street. All members are urged to attend. The regular monthly meeting of the First Presbyterian Ladies ' Aid society will be held in the church parlors at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, the usual luncheon hour following at 12:30.
