Local Distributor Secures Large Tent and Is Holding Hold-ing Auto Show. Any exhibition of motor cars without C. A. Quigley taking a prominent part would be out of the ordinary, at least in this section of the country. Consequently Conse-quently and naturally enough, the name . Quigley, Chandler and Dort motor cars, is one of the most prominent signs seen at the state fair. Mr. Quigley secured a large tent and has a little automobile show all his own, and, judging from the persons seen going in and out of the Quigley tent yesterday, it proved popular popu-lar with the people who crowded to the grounds yesterday afternoon. A a soon as one enters the tent the D 1 number shows up prominently. It means C. A. Quiglcv, No. 1 dealer of Utah, and is so officially recorded at the secretary of state's office in the new state capitol. The official number adorns seven beautiful Chandler motor cars shown in the Quigley tent. And ' the Chandler cars are in all kinds of models, shipped to Salt Lake especially to he shown at the stare fair. It is hard to say which is the most attractive model, but the Victoria model, the first Chandler Victoria model to be received in the west, would certainly attract many people's attention. It is the last thing in motor car construction and proved popular with the city visitors yesterday. Then there is a Chandler Sedan, which makes an ideal winter car in this climate. There are two Clover Leaf or "chummy'' roadsters on exhibit ! and three touring cars. With this line-, line-, up of Chandlers, Mr. Quigley 's exhibit : is one of the largest at the state fair. Quigley salesmen are in charge of the exhibit and were kept busy yesterday showing the different models to fair visitors. vis-itors. The tent is located near the coliseum at the west end of the main thoroughfare, but will easily be seen by Ruy person who attends tbe fair. |
