Show MARIE WALCAMP IS TO BE AT MEHESY'S "Liberty, a Daughter of the U. S. A.," featuring Marie Walcamp, contains con-tains an actilal reproduction of the Mexican Mex-ican raid on Columbus, N. M. The filming of this picture was one of the most spectacular sights ever witnessed as it was realistic to the most minute detail. Beverly Griffith, who was at the border at the time of the raid, took snapshots of the town before and after the Mexicans arrived. The town is actually ac-tually reproduced and the film is an exact duplicate of this battle, which mado history between the United States and Mexico. The picture is being shown at the Mehesy theater today. Crazed by his love for the beautiful American girl, Liberty Hnrton, Manual, the Mexican, son of her father's partner, uses desperate means to revenge himself him-self on his rival, the gallant American captain. He dislodges a great bowlder so that it will fall from a cliff and crush his rival on the narrow trail below. be-low. It is a wonderful scene. |
