Show COMMERCIAL STREET BUILDING PURCHASED New Company Takes Over Old Brigham Young , Trust Property. Incorporation papers, reflecting possible pos-sible extensive changes in the appearance appear-ance and business uses of Commercial street were filed with the county clerk yesterday. The papers were those of the Prudential Investment & Realty company, with a capitalization of $200,-OOd. $200,-OOd. The entire capital of the company is represented as paid up by transfer of the old Brigham Young Trust building on the east side of Commercial street at the. intersection with and south of Clavton avenue. The incorporators are J. T. Young, Mex Smith, Lafavetto Clayton, Robert Clavton and William Clayton. The major' ma-jor' holding of stock is by J. T. Young as trustee. The incorporators were reticent yesterday, yes-terday, such as could be reached, as to the purpose of the new company. The incorporation papers specify a general real estate and loan business. Mr. Young was out of the city. Lafavette Clayton one of the incorporator's, incor-porator's, admitted that the company has been organized for the purpose of endeavoring to put the property to some new and lucrative use, although he was not prepared to say definitely what it is to be. He hinted at plana in course of preparation, but said that they had not sufficiently materialized to be divulged. di-vulged. That they might involve remodeling re-modeling the building was to be gleaned from what he said. "We must do something with the property," said Mr. Clayton. "It cannot can-not be "left unrepaired and unimproved if it is to bring any returns. Just what we win undertake, none of us is yet prepared to Bay." |
