Show LARGE SQUAD OUT ST THE AGGIE CAMP New Material Shows Class; Freshmen Hold Prominent Places in Coaches' Eyes. Special to The Tribune. LOGAN", Sept. 30. The largest football foot-ball squad that has ever drilled on an Aggie campus is now hard at work and "Coach Watson has close to fifty men in suits. At the beginning of the second week of practice a number of valuable men were added to the squad. Brig Johnson, captain-eleet of tho Agie basketball team, is plugging to be in line lor a backfield position. Howard Htidmau, a former Ogden high school man with a reputation as a kicker, also drifted into Logan. Bob Pixton, who last spring captured the Yale medal for kicking, reported for practice Monday night. Grover Lewis, quarterback ot laet year's team, came in from a summer in Montana and joined the squad on Friday. Fri-day. Another valuable addition to the squad during the week was Andrew Mohr. Ho played as utility line man three years ago and will be a strong man at either guard or end. Doug Smith, a star basketball man of last year, is in a football suit and looks good for an end position. The other men who arc working on the varsity var-sity squad are Captain Judd, Twitched, Kapple. Lindquist., T ruches. Ted Hen-nion, Hen-nion, Peterson, Hatch, Hendricks, Hal-ton, Hal-ton, ( imnon, Petersen and Curtis. Adolph Church, who wa one of Inst year 's mainstays at guard, has left school and his loss will be keenly felt. The coach is trying to locnte another man to fill his plrif o, but, whoever it is, he will have to work to do justice to Church 's playing. At the first call for freshmen fifteen huskies reported, which is the best display dis-play ever made for the firt-yenr men. On the whole, these men will outweigh the varsity men and some of them show clacs nt ha milium the bail. Ah yet no frehman eowidi has been appointed, but the men receive valuable pointers from Coach Watson, who takes creat interest in the new men.
