Show ' GRAFOKDUS SHOWN lil SPECIAL ROOMS Through the opening of a magnificently magnifi-cently furnished exhibit room for the demonstration of Columbia grafonolas, the Freed Furniture & Carpet company has taken a step that it believes will meet with the hearty approval of its patrons. The room, or rooms, as two small demonstration apartments open off the main salon, are said by D. H. Delsell, representative of the Columbia Grapho-phone Grapho-phone company, who came here to as-, as-, sist in the opening, to be the finest and most commodions in the entire country. The main room, which is on the second sec-ond floor at the north end of the building, build-ing, is eighty by sixty feet, U trimmed inrrench gray and has blue carpets and furnishings. The lighting is of the indirect sys-.' sys-.' tem,-with wicker domes. This room is as- magnificently furnished as the finest fin-est of parlorB and makes an ideal rest room for women customers and others who love music. Young women will be present at all times to give any se-' se-' lections on the grafonola that may be desired. . The smaller rooms opening off the main room are strictly for demonstration demonstra-tion purposes. One is furnished with mahogany furniture in straight line designs, de-signs, while the other is in Louis XV furnishings. These rooms' are soundproof, sound-proof, thus enabling customers to judge of the tones of the instruments the same as if they were in their own homes. In addition to the splendid, lighting and furnishing of the rooms, -a. direct system of ventilation also has been installed. in-stalled. Kvery afternoon, except Sunday, a concert will be given and everybody is invited to attend. Any selection desired de-sired by the visitors will be given. Kllis C. Freed will be in direct charge of the new department. |
