Show PIMM IS READY FOB BOECEPTION Plans for Celebration of Sugar Factory Completion Are Completed. (Special to The Tribune. BRIG HAM CITY, Sept. 30. Definite plans are all completed for Brigham 's big reception to the people of Boxelder county at tho celebration to bo held here next Monday, commemorating the opening of the new sugar factory, which is nearly completod, and which will etart the sugar campaign between October Oc-tober 10 and 15. The city will be host to the whole county, and a well-prepared programme will be carried out, which will be free to the visitors and tho people of the city. A .special feature of the demonstra-, tion will be a barbecue at I p. m., when two roasted steers, 500 loaves of bread and a barrel of pickles will be I served at tho Acaclomy of Music tunnels tun-nels under the direction of Chef H. C. Jacobscn of the Laurel cafe in this city. -At 11 a. in. a meeting will be held in the Alta theater, which will be addressed ad-dressed by prominent officials of the "Utah-Idaho Sugar company of Salt Lake, Garland and Brigham. and city officials, together with a musical programme. pro-gramme. At 3 p. m. a baseball gamo will be played between the Garland and Brig-Jiam Brig-Jiam teams, and later concerts will be on by two or three bands. The city of Garland will uuito in the celebration and the Oregon Short Line will run a special train from that city in the morning. The management ot the Garland Gar-land sugar factory have declared a holiday holi-day Monday, and all the employees of that factory will come to Brigham also. The forenoon until 1J o'clock will be devoted to inspecting the new sugar mill, located north of the Watern lane, and a novel feature of this part of the programme will be the excellent transportation trans-portation facilities arranged for, whereby where-by the crowds can board cars at the O'gden, Logan & Idaho electric railway right on Main street. That company will convey the people to the Oregou Short Line depot and transfer the cars to the Oregon Short Line for conveyance convey-ance to the sugar factory, about one mile north of the depot. The latter road will have an engine assigned for duty, and the plans are to make the trip without change of ears. Trips to the factory will be run every thirty minutes during the forenoon, and according ac-cording to reports the visitors will be the guests of the railroad companies in making the trip to the factory and return. Dancing in the academy will form the closing event of the celebration. The celebration is being promoted by the business men of Brigham and the city officials.
