Show TURNING OUT GOLD FROM NEW PLACE The Gazette of Reno, Nev., says: "President Ira Miller of the Sprlng-fleld-Nevada Mining company, which is operating In Ollnghouse canyon, looked rather bored when a Gazette reporter re-porter asked him this morning how his property was looking. " 'Oh, Just pretty fair,' he drawled. 'We are running two five-foot mills, two three and a half foot mllly and I guess we will have to Increase the Williams mill to ten stamps. It keeps me busy running up to Carson with bullion. We are working only thlrfty-fivc men at present.' "Now, just Imagine how differently anybody else would talk if he had only one measly llttlo Huntington at work grinding out yellow gold! Mr. Miller fully realizes that out In Ollnghouse he has one of the richest groups of mines In tho State, mines that are paying pay-ing pplcndidly from tho grass roots', but he Is content with the little one per cent a month dividend and a growing surplus." |
