Show QUAY'S WORK IN CONGRESS NEAR END Appointment of His Secretary and Confidential Clerk as TJ. S. Consul Con-sul Indicates This. WASHINGTON, May 5. It is regarded re-garded as significant here that among the executive appointments appoint-ments announced today was that of William F. Wright to be Consul-General of the United States to Munich. Mu-nich. Mr. Wright for many years has been Senator Quay's secretary and confidential con-fidential clerk. It Is regarded as likely that this provision Is made for Mr. Wright for thc reason that Mr. Quay may feel that his work In Congress is nearlnc an end. |
