The fall of tho curtain cur-tain on Arthur Lawa's now comedy, "Tho Bride and Bridegroom," at tho new theater tonight was tho signal for tho noisiest scene witnessed In a London Lon-don theater for many years, A storm of "boos" and hostile remarks from the gallery gal-lery brought Sir Charles Wyndham to tho footlights, prepared, ho said, after several Ineffectual attempts to gain a heating, "to face tho music." There were cheers from the boxes, stnlls and dress circle, followed by rcnowed "boos" olsewhere, and shouts of "Wo all know you huto the gallery!" etc. Finally Sir Charles pointed his flngor nngrlly at tho gallery and culled upon the pollco to romovo tho offondorw. Borne of tho noisiest were ejected, but thlH did not abato tho demonstration, and Sir Charles remained on the stngo, palo but undnunt-ed. undnunt-ed.
