Show GDLDFiELD TO Ml 2000-TGrJ GOLD IVilLL i Recent Developments Prove I Existence of Considerable High-grade Ore. i The GoidrR-M Development coinracv lis arraug'i u to increase the capacity of tho (i'ouscH'jated mill from its present pres-ent IC'jO teas to L000 tons icr day, says the Sati Francisco Cbronicle. This wi'l be broupb t about by ad -lit ioo of t o Lue ball mills L.ud the uccesiary auxiliary auxili-ary equipmeut. The improvements to the already magnificent plant will niaUe the mill ouo ot tne largest gold-milliu uoits in the world, aud a model of el-ficiency. el-ficiency. The opening of high-grade ore in the Red Top mine has stirred much excite-meot excite-meot in Goldfield. and proves that the great area, thought to contain onlv ore of medium milling character, "holds creat probabilities of high-grade deposits depos-its equal to any of the bouuiiias which made Goldfield" the marvel of the mining min-ing world teD vcars ago. One bluM. iu the Ked Top, ffred lat week, shot dowu ore valued at fully $07,000, with the product averaging 'better thau $"JJ per ton in gold. The drifts are advancing in a full face of this character of ore, and bonanza discoveries may develop at any round of shots. The mill, crushing approximately 1'JOO tons daily, is scheduled to go into commission com-mission about August j. In addition to the enormous tonnage of profitable ore blocked out in the Combination and Ked Top mines, amounting to approximately approxi-mately l!.l!50,00U tons, the Goldfield Development De-velopment company has taken the north half of the famous Florence mine under leat-e. This area contains some of the richest blocks of ground ever opened in Goldfield, and opening of virgin territory ter-ritory will be prosecuted with vigor. The Laguna and Grizzly Bear are other properties comprising the group that are highly promising and have produced millions in gold. With the enormous tomuige of profitable prof-itable ore. in sight and the capacity of the mill increased to '2000 tons dailv, the management expects the Goldfield Development to take its place among the greatest; American gold poducers within the next few months. Preparations Prepara-tions have been completed to greatly increase the underground force and operate all departments at top capacity. The Crackerjack is coming to the front in no uncertain manner as the direct result of recent developments. On the 400-foot level the crosscut has picked up the ore bodv which faulted at the 120-foot point. On the 400 level the vein is averagiug $24 to $30 in gold and silver, while it sampled only $16 on the 120. Sufficient work has not progressed to definitely determine the dimensions of the ore body on the 400 level, but it is evidently a strong and compact vein, and gathering size as work advances. Recent developments have been of such an encouraging nature that the management is preparing to enlarge operations and open the proven veins at greater depth. New York Curb Stocks.
