Mr. "Hadley tells about his experiences as follows: "We took our Republic truck off the regular ruu it has been working for two years here in town, and without any special tuning up and with a full capacity load, sent it 'on the toughest bit of mountain work you can find. Twelve of the twenty-two miles to the Cardiff mine are up a 30 per cent grade.
