Sims, president and general managor of the Sims company, 179 So- i cial Hall avenue, district Packard distributors, dis-tributors, made tlie announcement yesterday yester-day that after. August l this company would commence as a 100 per cent Packard Pack-ard organization. Since May l, said Mr. Sims, when the company took over the Packard business in this territory, it has devoted the greater part of its time to service rather than sales, and in the last tiffeo months virtually vir-tually every Packard owner has been properly taken care of. "To give Packard service Is the first consideration, and every ev-ery owner of a Packard knows what that means," he declared. Beginning August 1, said Mr. Sims, the company will handle, exclusively Packard carriages, motor trucks and airplanes. For several years past the Sims company has handled Mitchell and Case rars, both of which will be discontinued at the close of July. The decision to make the company an exclusive Packard organization was arrived ar-rived at after a careful tudy of public demands and the ability of the Packard to gratify the public nocd.s.
