OCR Text	Show JACK UP WHEEL TO WORK ON BEARINGS To adjust front wheel bearing, put a jack under the from axle so that the wheel swings clear of the floor, and then remove the hub cap. Remove the cotter pin fro-n in front of the lock mit with the jdirrs. A th'n lock washer comes off next. Now grasp the spokes dirrctlv below the hub, and with the riL'ht hand in n perpendicular position frasp tlie upper cd-e of the tire. Work the wheel back nnd forth to detect any looseness. There should be a barely perceptible leotcricsH, and if there is mure than that, tighten, up the lock nut a trifle. , I r
