Harry Wheeler of Chicago, of the committee on finance and building, wa3 authorized by the officers and directors, direc-tors, who gathered here today before starting tonight on a western tour, to proceed with the work of obtaining subscriptions for the building fund. It is expected the entire cost of the project proj-ect will be donated. The officers and directors departed i tonight on the first leg of the western leg of the tour on which they will meet business leaders in all cities and learn the needs of western industry. They will make the first stop at Omaha. The tour is made in connection with a directors' di-rectors' meeting to be held August 8 I and 9 in Seattle. |
