Show JENSON WILL TOUR SEVERAL COUNTIES Andrew Jenson, assistant historian of the L. D. S. church, leaves today for a tour of Sanpete, Sevier and Wayne counties. coun-ties. All the settlements in these districts dis-tricts will be visited, and the old residents will listen to the reading of the histories in which they figured in the early days. The history of the country located east of the rim of the basin will be completed, and such settlements as Kanesville, Tor-rey, Tor-rey, Hauksville, Blue and Pleasant valley, val-ley, which figured so prominently in pioneer pio-neer days, will be written up. Fish take, historically known as the i place where the battle between the white men and Indians took place, will be visited, vis-ited, as well as many unique localities in the mountains, which previously have been but little explored. Members of Mr. Jenson'S family will stop at Manti while Mr. Jenson and Alvin E. Olson proceed by automobile. |
