Show ! IDAHO L. D. S. STAKE IS TO BE DIVIDED TWIN FALLS, Idaho. July 26. In charge of President Rudgcr Claw son of the quorum of the twelve apostles, Salt Lake; Melvin J. Ballard, Salt Lake, junior ju-nior member of the quorum; President W. T. Jack, Albion, of Cassia stake, and Mrs. Amy Brown Lyman, Salt Lake, representing the Relief societies, the regular reg-ular quarterly conference of Cassia stake, L. D. S. church, was opened here at 10 o'clock this morning and will continue , until Sunday evening. Of preat importance on the program is the division of Cassia stake into three Make?, one of which will be known as Twin Fa Us stake, with this city as headquarters. head-quarters. The others will be the Burley and Cassia Cas-sia stakes', with Oakley remaining the hcadquaritrs of the latter and Burley the ci'hfr. Twin Falls stake, it is estimated, will have four wards, two or three branches and a population of about 1750 members. |
