Show IW1BSK1 II GWDBll Texas City Tries in Vain to Get Some of Salt Lake's Allotment. I Stopping off in Salt Lake this week, the distributor of the New Moon cars in El Paso, Texas, begged the Salt Lake distributor, M. L. Graham company, j 331 South West Temple street, to ship to El Paso nil the cars possible from the allotment given Salt Lake, but it is needless to say this is impossible at 'this time. They have had several ear-loads ear-loads of the new Victory models there, but Salt Lake has had very few. Cars are not in demand in Texas as they are here, it is stated, and people are running run-ning the old cars rather than buy a new one. But they are still able to sell all the Moon cars they are able to get. Another cattleman in Beaver bought one of the Victory models this week, S. M. Smith, who drove home one of the new ones after coming to Salt Lake expressly for this purpose. August Litizzete, dr., bought three of the new Elcars, and will sell them in Helper. He took back one of the four-cylinder five-passenger five-passenger touring cars with him and will return shortly to run the others down. Another Marysvale man bought one of the sixes. Some of the Elcar shipments will arrive ar-rive this week, but deliveries of the new Moons are coming slowly, and more may not arrive for some two or three months, although the M. L. Graham Gra-ham company is now able to deliver a few of the cars. One thing about the Elcars that is worthy of notice is the fact that none of the many cars pnt out so far has been brought in to the service station except for minor adjustments, etc., although al-though some of the cars have beenrun more than 8000 miles, and none is expected ex-pected for many months to come. |
