Show Families are Forever' starts production A major reason Linda and Richard Eyre accepted the job of co-hosts of the popular cable television tele-vision talk show, "Families Are Forever," is their commitment to promoting family and lifestyle balance. bal-ance. For the past several weeks the nationally known authors and lecturers lec-turers on committed parenting have been seen nationwide on the show which is a regular feature on the national VISN cable network. The show is also aired Sundays at 6:30 p.m. and Mondays at 2:30 p.m. on KBYU-TV, Channel 11, the educational ed-ucational television station operated by Brigham Young University. The Eyres and a variety of guests will begin shooting another 13 segments of the series on May 21. "Families Are Forever" is produced produc-ed by Bonneville Media Communications Com-munications for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the cable network. It is packed full of valuable insights to help all parents facilitate family unity. The Eyres are co-authors of five national best-selling books on parenting and life balance. In the series they share with the viewers a wealth of practical experience gleaned in the raising of their nine children. Many of the programs in the series include ideas for fun, easy-to-do activities to help parents put their newly gained knowledge to work immediately. Among the themes of the various segments: "Building Your Child's Self Esteem," "How to Talk to Your Teenager," "Teaching Children Responsibility," "Positive Solutions to Family Conflicts," Con-flicts," "Helping Children Reach Their Potential," "Your Family and Music," "Finding Balance in Life" and many other pertinent topics. Linda Eyre is not only the mother of nine, but an accomplished musician, musi-cian, author and lecturer.
