CJH historians try to earn way to D.C. Congratulations to Ricky Bingham, Ben Schmidt, Brian Cloward, Brett Humphries and Evan Riddle, ninth grade students at Centerville Junior High. Their project on integrated circuits cir-cuits and computers took second place at the state history fair held April 3 at BYU. Because of their win they are invited to represent Utah at the national fair to be held June 9 through the 15 in Washington, Washing-ton, D.C. These five boys are trying to raise money so they can travel to Washington, D.C. and compete. Saturday, June 2, a yard sale will be held in Centerville on the comer of Parrish Lane and Main Street at the First Security Bank building. This sale will be held from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. with bakery goods and other items available for sale. The funds raised will help send the boys and their project back to Washington, D.C. Anyone interested inter-ested in donating to the yard sale, bring donations to Centerville Junior Ju-nior High or to the site of the yard sale the morning of May 12. |
