Springs, in favor of the restoration of horso racing for tho hvo tracks here, has reported to tho league, and in addition to favoring action by 1 lio citizens and business men presents the outline of a. bill providing for legal racing, which il is proposed that Ihe legislature, shall bo urged to pass. With the report, tho committee introduced intro-duced reoolutions, which llu; league adopted, favoring the cnucting of laws which will permit horso racing and bolting bol-ting under restrictions. The bill approved, ap-proved, by the Business Men 's leaguo provides' that; racing may bo conducted for a period of ninety days, or long enough lo cover the best pari of the winter season. The resolutions adopted will bo presented lo the legislature earlj-in earlj-in January, when the leaguo will memor-alizo memor-alizo tho legislature for the enactment of I lie proposed law.
