Show LOIG JRIP IS BEGUN W Eiill GABS They Arc Sent Out Under Auspices Aus-pices of Wall Agricultural College. The industrial exhibition car, containing con-taining an exhibit of tho rcsourcos of the state of Utah, and conducted undor tho auspices of tho Utah Agricultural coWego, will bo started Tuesday, January Jan-uary 5, on a trip about tho state, in order to show tho peoplo what is being j dono at the institution and to show them some of the mothodo of conducting agriculture in Utah. Demonstrations of stock judging will also bo givon at tho different places where stops are mado. Professor L. S. Merrill, professor of agronomy at tho college, will havo charge of the exhibition, and will bo assisted by Dr. Ball, director of the experiment station; Professor Northrup, Professor John T. Caine and Mrs. Rena Baker Maycock, who will havo chargo of tho department of domestic science. Tho railroads arc co-operating in the movement and havo furnished the car and provided everything necessary to carry it about tho stato, tho college 1 providing only tho exhibit. Tho trip ! will includo most of tho towns of tho stato, extending from Richmond on tho north to Oasis in tho southwestern part of tho slate, on tho line of. the Salt Lako Route, and Green River is the extreme east on tho lino of tho Denver & Rio Grando railroad. Tho completo itinerary haa not yet beon arranged, but the towns in tho northern portion of tho 6tato will be visited in tho following order. It is planned to reach this city about January Jan-uary 2G. Other points will bo visited on tho foll6wing dates: Richmond, January 1; Smithfield, Jan-uar3 Jan-uar3 7; Hyrum, January S; Wellsvillc, January 9; Mendon, January 11; Cache Junctiou, January 11; Honeyville, January Jan-uary 12; Tremonton, January 13; Garland, Gar-land, January 14; Brigham, January 15; Willard, January 16. |
