JOHN RUPPEL MAKES SPOT ON UTAH "U" TENNIS TEAM A University of Utah student from Roosevelt, John Robert Rup-pel, Rup-pel, will be playing with Ute net stars for tennis competition with Montana State University at Mis soula Friday, April 27. John, a sophomore this year at the U., it a 1954 graduate of Wasatch Was-atch Academy in Mt. Pleasant, where he was active in athletics, band and journalistic work. He is the son of Wm. (Bus) H. Ruppel of Roosevelt. In other acti vities at the U., he is a member of the band, Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the U. Days Committee. Other events on the spring tennis ten-nis calendar for U. of U. include Brigham Young University at Provo Pro-vo May 4, Utah State Agricultural College at Logan May 11 and the conference meet at Denver University Uni-versity May 25-26.
