Show K . . . Over 400 boys and leaders lead-ers expected to attend Second Annual High Uinta Scout Camp. A Day At Camp Is Explained iy Scout Eleads "Scouts and Explorers at the 1956 High Uinta Scout Camp will find fun and adventure at every hour of the day," is the opening sentence on page 3 of the 1956 High Uinta Camp bulletin to be distributed td all Scouts and Explorers Ex-plorers of the Uintah Basin during dur-ing the next seven days. A typical day at camp will include in-clude 7:00 reveile, 7:15 flag ceremony cere-mony and roll call, 7:30 breakfast and camp clean-up, followed by the 8:45 formal camp inspection. Last year interest was high as Roosevelt Fourth Troop 751 won the Honor Gamp award as a result of the daily camp inspection. Two instructional periods from 9:45 to 1Q:45, and from 10:55 to 12:00 each morning will help the boys prepare to pass their second class, first class, and merit badges while at camp. Dinner at noon will be followed by clean-up and siesta period until 2 p.m. when the' fun activities begin. be-gin. At 3:30 the program will shift to scoutcraft demonstrations and contests. Formal person inspection will be each evening at 5:30 p.m. followed by retreat, supper, and free time until campfire at 8 p.m. Taps will sound at 9:30 p.m. Flag ceremonies this year are being planned so as to make each boy appreciate' he is an American as he sees the new-large 10-foot flag hoisted and lowered. Cooking will be done this year on a patrol basis with each patrol being asked to plan and test their menus before coming to camp.
