Show MIA Maids Participate In Rose Evening Ceremony Tuesday Night Mia Maids of the Roosevelt ward MIA held their Rose' Evening Eve-ning at the stake house, under the direction of their leader, Cleo McDonald. Mc-Donald. Special guests present we're the girls' mothers and Mirl Gines, stake YWMIA manual counselor. coun-selor. Opening prayer was given by Mary Ellen Blaine, followed by the welcome by Utahna Gagon. "The Romantic Story" was read by Helen Robins and a piano solo played by Laura Ann Leavitt. Symoblism of a Rose was given by Jean Allred. The rose bouquet was then assembled as-sembled by the girls, with each telling why she had chosen her particular rose. The bouquet was then presented by Mrs. McDonald to the president, Marjorie Mem-mott, Mem-mott, who acknowledged it and returned re-turned the roses to the girls. The' song, "As a Rose," was sung by the group, accompanied by Laura Ann Leavitt to climax the program. Closing prayer was by Elva Broderick. Lovely refreshments were served at the close of the' evening with Michael McDonald, Stacy Luke and Larry McDonald assisting.
