Show Funeral Held For Active Church Leader Of Utahn FuneTal services were held in the Duchesne stake chapel Wednesday, Wed-nesday, April 18, for George Herbert Her-bert Lang, 69, who died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 14, in the Duchesne Hospital following a lingering illness. An active church worker most all his life, Mr. Lang served as president of the Utahn branch for 6V2 years, and held about every other office' in the ward and his priesthood quorums. He had lived in Utahn for 40 years and was a retired farmer and stockman. He was born June 17, 1886 in Beaver, a son of John and Elizabeth Eliza-beth Stansfield Lang. He married Nellie' Pearson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Sept. 12, 1928. He is survived by his widow, one son, Ralph H., Utahn. two daughters, Mrs. Elton (Arva) Potter, Pot-ter, Talmage, and Mrs. Harold (Donna), LaMunyon, Grand Junction, Junc-tion, Colo.;, a sister, Mrs. Effie Thompson, Duchesne, and 6 grandchildren. grand-children. Burial was in the Utahn cemetery ceme-tery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. |
