Show Presents Program A very interesting program was presented at Sacrament meeting when Wendell Johnson of the Union Un-ion High Seminary, furnished the program of the following parts: piano solo, Rose Mary Daniels of the Moffatt ward; talk by Theora Angus of the Lapoint ward, followed fol-lowed by a saxophone solo by Bonnie Daniels, accompanied by her sister, Rose Mary; talk by Mr. Johnson. Other visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Angus, Clifford Clif-ford Fausett and Dale Peterson of Myton. Mrs. Chastie Neilsen spent Sunday Sun-day visiting her daughter, Henna Shields. Mr. and Mrs. Earvin Murphy is at the Roosevelt Hospital being treated for a very serious attack of flu. Joann Shephard went back to Salt Lake Sunday' to resume her work there after being at home the past two weeks assisting her mother. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young of Mt. Emmons visited Sunday with Mr. and' Mrs. Bill Shephard. Mrs. J. A. Halladay and children chil-dren spent a few days in Salt Lake and Draper during the week. Mr. Halladay, who is employed in Draper injured his foot in a tractor trac-tor accident. Weekend visitors at the home' of Mrs. Malcolm Walters were: Mr. and Mrs. Dave Jenson and daughter, Carolyn of Tooele, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walters and baby of Salt Lake. Sunday visitors were: Mr. and Mrs. Leland' Wright and three little girls of Utahn and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Skinner of Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee and daughter, Shelley, spent Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon at Bluebell with their mother, Mrs. Mary R. Lisonbee. Lis-onbee. It was Mrs. Lisonbee's 82nd birthday anniversary. ELECTED PRESIDENT Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald attended the annual Hi - Land Dairymen's meeting at the Hotel Utah at Salt Lake on Thursday. Mr. Fitzgerald, who is one of the founders of the Hi-Land' Dairymen's Dairy-men's Assn., was elected again to serve as president. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Lisonbee' and Mrs. James Bird of Salt Lake City were Wednesday callers at the Shelby Lisonbee home. Gary Shields was one of the students from the Roosevelt Jr. High Seminary class to take part at Arcadia's Sacrament meeting Sunday evening. COMPLETES MISSION Allen Murphy joined his brother,- Gerald at Salt Lake, where they left Saturday for Minnesota, to meet their brother, Robert, who is being released from his mission there after serving two years in the North-Eastern mission field. Mrs Letta Meyer, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Shirley Mor-tensen Mor-tensen of Myton went to Salt Lake Wednesday, returning Saturday. Mrs. Meyer visited with her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Jane Murphy, who has been very ill this spring. Wm. Foy of Duchesne and Stanley Stan-ley Ross of Arcadia were Sunday School and Sacrament meeting visitors here. "v Bishop and Mrs. Carl Van Tassell Tas-sell went to Salt Lake Thursday to attend the Hi-Land Dairymen's meeting. They were accompanied by Elden Brady and Allen Murphy. Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady were Provo visitors Saturday, where they visited their mother, Mrs. Emma Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs Lon Farnsworth and baby of Salt Lake spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Liddell. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marchant are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby girl, born to them Wednesday, Wed-nesday, April 18, at the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital. Arriving here Sunday Sun-day to visit the new arrival and parents were Mrs. Marchant's mother, father and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Stembridge and son, Melvin, of Peoa. Max Taylor of Salt Lake visited Saturday with his mother, Mrs. Ethel Taylor. |
