Show Randlett Mrs. J. E. Jensen Presents Program The Seminary presented the following fol-lowing program in Sacrament meeting Sunday: Miss Teddy Reid-head Reid-head announced the program; talks by Lewis Fausett, "The Apostasy and the Restoration;" song, Teach Me to Pray," Karen Gines, Elaine Angus, Neal White and Gilbert Ross, with Celia Kay Jenkins as accompanist at the piano;, talk, Phyllis Rowley, "Oh God Forgive Me When I Whine, I Who Have So Many Blessings;" talk, Danny Swain, "Repentence;" song, "How Firm a Foundation;" benediction, Donald Sorenson. I Stake Mutual, officers attending our ward Mutual were: Bennie Schmiett Mirl Jennings, James Bacon and Mr. Long. Mutual officers attending stake Mutual leadership meeting Wed-, nesday evening in Roosevelt were Donna Pickup and Viola Jensen. Ralph Taylor went to Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Norton Shelton and son, Duane, spent Sunday visiting vis-iting at the J. E. Jensen home. Mrs. Beoma Dudley spent the weekend visiting in Salt Lake. Clyde Jarman arrived home on Wednesday from Korea. Mr Jar-man Jar-man has been serving in the armed forces. Mrs. Marion Young arrived home this week. She and her new baby daughter have, been staying at the home of Mrs. Young's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen of Lapoint. CELEBRATES 80th BIRTHDAY Mr. J. P. Stevens of Salt Lake City celebrated his 80th birthday at the J. E. Jensen home. Mr. and Mrs. Chauncy Penfold and family of Midvale, spent the weekend visiting at the home of Mrs. Penfold's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elby Justice. The Penfolds attended all Sunday meetings here. High Councilman Owen T. Bur-gener Bur-gener attended all meetings here Sunday. NEW TEACHERS Jessie Pickup was sustained as a Sunday School teacher; Ray Barney Bar-ney and Lawrence C. Wall, Sr. were sustained as ward teachers in Sacrament meeting Sunday. Fahy Durfee and son, Richard, and daughter, Mrs. Fayellen Barlow Bar-low and two sons spent the weekend week-end visiting his wife and daughter. Mr. Durfee and son went back to Salt Lake City Saturday evening. Mrs. Barlow and sons will visit here the next two weeks. Mrs. Nina Clark of Salt Lake City spent the weekend visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jorgensen. Preston Searle went to Salt Lake City to receive medical care during the week. Miss Beatrice Chandler of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend visiting vis-iting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Chandler. Donald Price of Roosevelt was a weekend guest at the home of Larry Stoddard. |
