Show Altamont P-TA To Stage Minstrel As Aid To Projects The Altamont P-TA has scheduled sched-uled the night of May 9th, to stage a Minstrel for the purpose of raising funds to help beautify the I high school campus, purchase playground play-ground equipment for the Altamont Alta-mont Elementary School and to build a baseball diamond for the use of the school. Mrs. Ross Iorg, chairman of the finance committee, reports that a very good program has been arranged and that many of the numbers to be used on the program pro-gram are from some of the' best talent in the upper country. Members Mem-bers of the Altamont P-TA who are also helping to make this night a success, are: Muriel Kolb, Dorothy Farnsworth, June Harmon, Har-mon, LeOna Swallow and the principals from the' high school and the elementary school. Ray Oman, past president of the Altamont P-TA will be honored at this time. Two of the most outstanding out-standing numbers on the program are a solo number by 'Lazy Bones' Peel and a ladies' trio, composed of Petunia, Magnolia and Gardenia, Garden-ia, all outstanding vocalists. The public is cordially invited to help the Altamont P-TA meet the required amount of fund's to meet this project for the year.
