Show Bertha Angus Violet Gentry Elders Have Party The First Elders Quorum were sponsors of a party in the Ioka ward hall. Friday night. The program pro-gram was: Sharon Keel of Neola, accordian number;, Jim Drollinger, piano solo; song, Janet, Lee and June Winterton, accompanied by Janice Burge'ner; reading, Celia Richens of Myton;, vocal solo, Mrs. Russell Gingell of Myton. Square dancing was enjoyed and a basket supper ended the party, with all saying they had a good time. Mr. and Mrs. Keel of Neola came with their daughter. Marsh Donegan left Sunday for Butte', Montana', ' where he will work in the mines. Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Todd of Roosevelt and Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Wright of Chicago. Attorney and Mrs. Bert Dart of Price and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Uresk of Ely, Nevada, were weekend week-end visitors of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jones and children spent the weekend in Salt Lake as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Spencer. Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Spencer are sisters. Visiting at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon Lem-on recently were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Lemon and' family and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne' Russon. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Courtland of Myton called on Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Gentry last week. Mr. and Mrs. Senor Mortensen left Saturday for Texas. They expect ex-pect to return home' next week. Their daughter, ' Mrs. Stevens, will accompany them home for a visit. CLUB HOSTESS Mrs. Olive Sorensen was hostess to the Thursday Club at her home April 16. Those enjoying a pleasant pleas-ant afternoon and her dainty refreshments re-freshments were: Lucy Edwards, Sarah Brokaw, Edith Gentry, Gladys Dart, Bemice Haueter, Violet Vio-let Gentry. Mrs. Dean Washburn was a club guest. Mr. and. Mrs. Devon Gentry of Myton were visitors at the W. G. Gentry and Tom Gentry homes Sunday afternoon. Mr. -and Mrs. Ralph Dart entertained enter-tained the following guests at their home Saturday evening: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Uresk of Ely, Nevada, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Dart of Duchesne Du-chesne and Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart. The evening was spent in watching television. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon and family of Vernal were dinner guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd, Sunday. Bishop and Mrs. James Lemon entertained at a family dinner on Sunday. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Max Hartman of Mt. Emmons and their parents, Mr.' and Mrs. J. B. Lemon. They also attended ths Bear Dance at Ouray in the afternoon. after-noon. Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Emil Anderson were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson, Mrs. Gould Shelton and two daughters of Roosevelt and Mrs. Marie Durfee of Upalco. |
