Show Celeste Eastmond slates Recital Ay A vocal recital by April Celeste Eastmond, a senior music major at Southern Utah State College, will be helMay 16 at SUSC. Eastmond's senior recital will begin at 8:15 p.m. in the Frank A. Thorley Recital Hall. The public is invited to attend the performance free of charge. Arias from Puccini's "La Boheme" and Mozart's "Marriage of Figaro" will be included on Eastmond's program along with songs by Schubert, Schumann, Faure and Bizet. Whe will be accompanied ac-companied on the piano by Lynne Anderson. Eastmond has appeared as a soloist and as a student conductort of the college a'cappella choir several times. She has also been a soloist for various civic and church functions and was a member of a Utah Shakespearean Festival women's trio for two years. The SUSC honor student will graduate next fall with a BA in music, vocal performance per-formance emphasis. She plans to work towards a masters degree in vocal arts. She and her son, Ian Douglas, live in Cedar City. She is the daughter of Mr! and Mrs. Paul Ryan, Henderson, Hen-derson, Nevada, and is a 1973 graduate of Basic Hieh School. B |
