Show NEW OFFICERS. Recent student elections elec-tions at Parowan High School have resulted in the election of, left to right: Diane Adams, studentbody president; Diane Gurr, vice president and Marilyn Hanks, secretary-treasurer. PHS holds Student Body Election Parowan High School held their student body elections last week and three lovely ladies were elected to serve for the 1979-80 school year. Miss Diane Adams , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Adams, will serve as student body president. Diane is an outstnding student at PHS, a marching Rammette, she is very active in music at the school, a member of the concert band arid flute accompanist for the Madrigal Singers and also very active in athletics, Diane Gurr is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Gurr and also an excellent student. She is very active in athletics, she has just broken the state 1-A record for running the low hurdles at the BYU track meet. She also participates in many other sports at the school. She is very active in music and is a member of the Madrigals and Concert Band. She was Chairman of the Jr. Prom and is a member of the yearbook staff. Marilyn Hanks is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hanks and excels in academics, sports and music. She served as co chairman of the Jr. Prom and was a member of this year's model U.N. team. She is a marching Rammette and a member of the Madrigals and the Concert Band. She is also a member of the year book staff and an excellent volleyball player. |
