Show CHS Choir place First in Region Six Cedar High School A Cappella Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Shirley Roper, captured the Region Six first place trophy at the Festival held at Payson High I School May 1. L' fejpMnU ft fl fi rAj ! 1 LAiA . This outstanding choir received I ratings from all three judges. One of the judges commented com-mented that "there is usually some hassel over who gets the first place trophy but in this case it was clear cut and there was no question with any judge but that Cedar was the best choir." Another judge wrote: "You have what a choir should have - beautiful tone quality, good blend, and a great sensitivity to the music. You understand style - you've got class." On May 13 this fine choir along with Cedar High Crimson Soul, who also recieved I ratings this year both at Region Jazz Festival and Region Solo and Ensemble En-semble Festival, and the Junior High School chorus, will present a concert at 8:15 p. m. in the Cedar High School auditorium. It promises to be an outstanding out-standing program with some very capable soloists: Mike Michie, Sherry Hall, and Marsha Kupfer. These outstanding vocalists r received superior ratings ar Region and State along with Barbara Peterson and Debbie Davis. The concert is free to the public and everyone is invited in-vited to attend. held this past week at Payson High School.
