Show Play WALTZ to Help You WRITE MUSIC waltz and fox trot music; to minimize the agonies of penmanship is the latest expedient to be employed by the Dorchester, Mass., Evening High School. The experiment has been going on for some time and, according to L. M. Rand, an Instructor in the high school, has been marvelously successful. Music by a phonograph, according to Mr. Rand, eliminates the monotony of penmanship penman-ship exercises, agreeably relieves the mind from the deadening effect of routine endeavor, en-deavor, and Is at once a metronome for the gauging of speed and a safety valve to prevent pre-vent the nerves of the pupils from fraying under the work. |
