A letter to Secretary W . J. Vv Olsten-; holme from Superintendent P. D. rlnKea savs that more iron, with some spar, is "coming into the face of the tunnel.. He also said there was an increase in the flow of water and that geological conditions generally led him to believe that a little more progress would result in verv interesting disclosures. In view of the fact that the Xew Tuscarora Tus-carora ground is located ln a region that has produced more than J45.Ou0.000 in high-grade ore, and that the Indications are that once the lime is penetrated the operators will he in the same character of rich ground, the enthusiasm of the superintendent may be regarded as extremely ex-tremely conservati c. |
