Show JURY WILL RETURN TEN INDICTMENTS Special to The Tribune ' OODEN. March 10 Not less than ten indictments, in addition to the three already returned in minor cases, will be forthcoming from the grand jury early next week, according to information in-formation obtained today from a reliable reli-able source. The indictments aro said to result from the present week's work, i but it was impossible to draw up the' forms because printed blanks have not yet heen received from the printers. There was no session of the grand jury todny, the members deciding tu take a Saturday vacation. Based on tho per diem for grand jurors and witnesses, wit-nesses, together with the mileage fees, the first week of the grand jury session bas cost about JpliHi. Ou this basis it is expected that the total cost of the session ses-sion will amount to about $2000. Owing Ow-ing to the orders issued by the court it is impossible for newspapers to predict pre-dict the nature of the indictments as based on the identity of witnesses summoned. |
