Show $25,000,000 INVOLVED IN BIG OIL MERGER ST. LOUIS, March 10. The merger of a number of Kansas and Oklahoma oil companies to be capitalized at $2d-000,000 $2d-000,000 was announced here today. It will be named the "Wichita Independent Consolidated Oil & Eeflning company. Among the companies embraced in'the merger are the Wichita Independent Oil & Kenning company, Wichita, Kan.; the Millhauser property and Kanffman company, com-pany, Eldorando, Kan.; the British-American British-American Oil company, New York, and plants and properties at Augusta, Leone, Winfleld and Argonia, Kan., and in the Blackwell region of Oklahoma. The announcement of the merger was made today by Rice McDonald, a banker here, and former Governor W. J. Bailey of Atchison, Kan., both of whom are interested. |
