Taking into consideration considera-tion the serious disadvantage under; which the boys of the east bench insti- j tution went through the season, West- j minster turned out a very creditable team this winter. The college has no gymnasium upon the campus, and the basketball aspirants were compelled to traverse the city to play in the Burlington Burling-ton gym. Under such circumstances but tri-weekly practice could be held. Westminster West-minster played games during the season with the Burlington second team, Amer- ! ican Fork, Murray, "U" preps and the Utah Business college. In these games the Lloyd brothers again showed their proficiency in athletics. G. Lloyd and H. Lloyd were the mainstays of the team in the positions at forward. |
