Show LOCAL STOCK CARS RACE AGftIN MONDAY Battle Between Dealers' Machines Will Be Staged in 25-rnile Race. The rivalry which lias existed between Salt Lake automobile dealers since the recent stock car event at the Utah state fair has led to tiie announcement that there will be a twenty-flve-mile race between be-tween stock cars tomorrow afternoon on the fair grounds trade. On Thursday the Cole won the stock car event, with the Locomobile second and tiie Paige third. The Chevrolet and the Packard were forced out of the race on account of accidents, but up to the time of these cars leaving the race the matUt looked like a Ftmggle between the two. '" ' It is doubtful whether the Cole representatives repre-sentatives will have a car in tomorrow's , battle. H. P. Federspiel drove a touring f cor In the recent event arid will not par-ticipate par-ticipate Monday unless the other machines have tonneaus. w f The Chevrolet will.be driven by H. P. Moody, tho Paige by Bud Bodell, the Locomobile by Harry Eaton, and tho Packard pilot has not yet been selected. The winners will divide three-quarters of the gate receipts, besides many sida beta which have been placed by Salt Lake dealers. - - i |
