PICKING CAST FOR FORTHCOMING OPERA Elks Go Ahsad With Arrangements for Production of GUbert and Sulli- van's 'Mikado." With the cast for the Elks "The Mikado" production, to be preseuted in tho Salt Lake theater November S and P. nearly chosen, the work is progressing progress-ing rapidly and the comic opera is beginning be-ginning to shape into the finished sta'C production, according to Richard Kipling, Kip-ling, who has charge of " The Mikndo. By the middle of the week Mr. Kipling expects to have members of the cast and chorus chosen, and will then begin the first real stage work. The next meeting of the cast w ill be held this afternoon at. 2 o'clock in the Elks' club rooms. The committee in charge of the show are particularly eager to have all musicians and ai-mrs. who formerly supported the Elk productions, produc-tions, to take part in this comic opera. The members of the opera will meet ncfiin Tuesday evening at S o'clock for their second rehearsal.
