FORD CI DEVICE EOUALjZES LIGHT Doubles Power of Lenses; Makes Night Driving Safe and Pleasurable. It seems that all inventors have centered cen-tered their active brains on Fori automobiles, auto-mobiles, for now a new device for improving im-proving the lighting systems on the ' ' Universal car ' ' has been .brought to the attention of the public by ' E. E. Brazier, sales manager of the Inter-Mountain Inter-Mountain Electric company. This new. device is known as Equal-Lite Equal-Lite and Mr. Brazier states '. that it regulates the lights pp a Ford .at ..no. matter what speed. As most, car owners own-ers know, Eord lights invariably weaken weak-en as the motor's speed is slackened, and the light strengthens as. the motor travels at a faster speed. ,ilr. Brazier states that the Equal-Lite, does awav with the -'up and duwnness ' ' of Eor'd lights. "Equal-Lite will give twice as bribht a light on Jf'lor liUti and 1917 model Fords,''-' Mr. Brazier stated yesterdav, "and at the same time it eliminates the danger of burning out the lights as the motor increases its speed. Then, when the motor starts to jerk on the get-away, the Equal-Lite proves its worth by regulating tho lights to a steady. .even glow, so it makes no difference dif-ference whether the Ford is traveling five or forty-five miles an hour, the lights are always the same if the car is equipped with an Equal-Lite. "The Ecitial-Lite is unusualU- simple to attach. ' Mr. Brazier continued, 'and. unlike most lighting contrivances contriv-ances for Fords, one needn 't be an expert ex-pert mechanic to put an Equal-Lite on hi, car. 'To change the headlight wiring for the Equal-Lite, all you have to do is take both' wires out of the right-hand lamp connection plug. Twist the ends of these two wires together and put them back in only one of the holes of the connection plug. In the other hole in the connection plug yqu must attach at-tach the wire that is furnished with every Equal-Lite. Then ground the wire to the radiator nut. "Then attach the Equal-Lite to the rod that runs from the radiator to the dash, as near the dash as possible. Take off the wire that runs from the light switch to the magneto connection. Then connect, the two Equal-Lite wires, one to the light switch and one to the magneto mag-neto connection. Then your Equal-Lite is permanently connected to your car. No new globes are necessary; you use the ones that come with your car.
