The gigantic Studebnkor orea:::ation in the intermountain territory was fo'o.l by Manager T. W. Naylor of tho Stu-I Stu-I debaker corporation of I 'fab in this I city yesterday. Practically all the dealers of this section sec-tion were in Salt La k e a 1 1 end i n lt t!ie state fair and the fa.-t that so many were here and the presence of the factory fac-tory sales manager w;;s made the motif for a big luncheon in the spacious ban- quet hall at the Commercial club at the noon hour. Covers were laid for fifty and every seat was taken. A five course luncheon lunch-eon was served in the inimitable style of the chef at the Commercial club, which was greatly enjoyed' by all, despite de-spite the fact that its cost, in "these dire times of high- prices, would have made a handsome first payment on a big Stu debaker touring car. Following the luncheon there were speeches by Mr. Naylor and other gentlemen gen-tlemen engaged in distributing Stude-baker Stude-baker cars. J. P. De-aeon, assistant general sales manager from the home factory at South Bend, Iud., was the special guest of the occasion and was listened to in a straight forward sales talk that was appreciated and no doubt will prove beneficial to the Studebaker aggregation. |
