Hundreds of citizens citi-zens of this city and county gathered gath-ered at tho depot Wednesday afternoon aft-ernoon iu a farewell reoeptiou in honor of tho forty-six men "who departed depart-ed on. that day' for American hake, Wash.'! by way of .Salt Lake City. The entire city was decorated in the national colorR in honor of the occasion. occa-sion. Kramer as chairman. chair-man. He introduced the following speakers: Senator Archibald Bevau, the Kev. Frank W. Bross, the Rev. Father Do Stoope and A. J. Stookey. Ihe Tooele military band escorted the young soldiers to the train, upon which they departed for Salt Lake City amtd rcesing cheers and good bves from their many relatives and frienns.
