NEW MANAGER ASSUMES CHARGE j E. M. LATHAM Sf4:, y- That the local B. T. Goodrich store has leen raised in rank from a mere adjusting station and will in due time become a branch agency is the announcement an-nouncement of Goodrich officials. With the arrival in this city from Los Angeles of E. M. Latham, who is to have the management of the local B. F. Goodrich store, also comes the announcement that the increasing business busi-ness in the intermountam district will, in all probability, make it necessary to establish a full-fledged branch store in Salt Lake in the near future. Mr. Latham, who comes here as man-affor, man-affor, is a man who has had a wide and comprehensive experience in tho tire business. He has made his way up from territorial salesman to his present position by hard and persistent work. When the business of the local store CHABLES VITEKNA kh A. became too large to longer designate it as an adjusting depot, Mr. Latham was selected to be its head and is now in full charge. Spending the "week with him is Charles Viterna of the San Francisco branch, who is auditor for the coast and intermountain districts. Mr. Vit-erna'is Vit-erna'is here to check over the stock left by G. M. G-ay, who has been transferred to the Los Angeles branch, where he has been given the position of general adjuster ior the entire west. Mr. Viterna expects to complete his labors here in a few days, "when he will return to San Francisco.
