The Consumers ' Warehouse A; I Storage company recently incorporated with the fullowiuj!. stockholders: J. A. I Hess, George Hess, Andrew Larson, . Hugh J. Camion, Carl Buehuer, Cordon Williamson and II. M. Dahlo. The new warehouse and storage company com-pany has absorbed the Hess Produce companv and the old management is to remain "the same. This means that J. A. Hess, who was manager of the old concern for six years and who has had five years' experience in the same business in Idaho before coming here, is to have charge of the Consumers company. The object of the new company is to bring products direct from the producer to the consumer with the least possible expense and at the same time allowing any ami all interested to take stock, so long as any remains. The addition to the present storage and warehouse facilities, construction on which will begin this week, will include a fireproof building 06 by bO feet, ono story high, and with a basement. base-ment. This 'addition will bring the present storage capacity up to approximately approxi-mately 70,000 cubic feet. Owing to the high cost of material only about one-third of the contemplated building improvements will be undertaken under-taken this year. Provision has been made, however, to rent other buildings to accommodate customers of the new company. The Consumers' Warehouse & Storage company will carry on business generally gener-ally as'. jobbers, wholesalers and retailers, retail-ers, and as such will be in a position to buv and sell on commission or otherwise. other-wise. The company will store, trade in, dispose of and handle all kinds ot goods, wares, merchandise, property and effects and particularly such household commodities as coal, sugar, flour, salt, etc. The company will issue warrants to persons, warehousing their goods and lend money upon the security of such goods. The directorate is -represented by well-known business men, experienced in warehousing and storage. Two hundred hun-dred and sixty shares of the stock at 50 a share has already been sub scribed, 140 of which have been taken by Mr. Hess and the remainder apportioned appor-tioned in 20 shares each among the other stockholders. The company is capitalized for $50,000 and divided into 1000 shares. The company has ample railroad and switching facilities and its warehouse location is conveniently accessible. |
