Show J 1 , v - iA " t COUNTRY AND WESTERN artist "Gatemouth Brown" will show his versatility on the guitar and the fiddle at the Elk's Concert Con-cert in September. Concert to feature fiddlin' country stars The Vernal Elks are sponsoring a night of country music featuring Jana Jae and Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown Sept. 6, 1980 at the Vernal Junior High auditorium. Jana Jae, National Lady's fiddlin' champion for 1973 and 1974, who has appeared ap-peared in concerts and night clubs all accross the United States, will be featured at the concert. She has toured the Pacific, including Japan, the Philippines, Philip-pines, Australia and New Zealand. She has also impressed many with her remarkable musical ability on television televi-sion shows which include Dinah!, the Merv Griffin Show, the Tonight Show, The Tony Orlando and Dawn Show, Hee Haw and Country at Sea World. She credits her mother with her early interest in music. "She provided the constant drive for all our family in music," Jana Jae says. "She always wanted us to improve bur ability." Featured with Jana Jae is "Gatemouth" Brown. "On stage the lanky, sleepy-eyed black musician, in embroidered country coun-try shirt and Stetson hat, cuts a rather unusual figure," says Stuart Goldman, Los Angeles Times.
